Car Dumper 4 (CD4)

  • Project Scope: The CD4 Project at Finucane Island involves replacing aging infrastructure with a new tandem cell dumper to enhance operational reliability and throughput. The civil scope includes concrete cutting, core drilling, epoxy grouting, demolition, trenching, slab preparation, drainage modifications, small-scale roadway construction, and foundation works to support mechanical, electrical, and substation upgrades throughout the project.

Jimblebar Train Load Out (TLO)

  • Customer: BHP
  • Location: Newman, WA
  • Roster: 2:1 (Trades & Staff)
  • Project Duration: Approx Jan 2027
  • Point of Hire: WA
  • Project Scope: Includes earthworks, concrete structures, rail track installation, trenching and conduit installation, piping, earthing, and construction of maintenance pads at a major BHP site in Newman

Brockman Syncline 1

  • Customer: Rio Tinto
  • Location: Paraburdoo, WA
  • Roster: 2:1 (Trades & Staff)
  • Project Duration: Mid 2027
  • Point of Hire: WA
  • Project Scope: Supply and installation of the concrete footings and slabs for the Primary Crusher (PC3), Discharge Conveyor (BCV130) and Transfer Station (BTN130), Overland Conveyor (BCV131), Surge Bin (BBN131), Primary Crusher substation, Surge Bin pump station and modifications to existing Conveyor BCV210.

Perdaman Project Ceres

  • Customer: Perdaman
  • Location: Karratha, WA
  • Roster: 20:8 (Trades), 2:1 (Staff)
  • Project Duration: Approx Mid 2026, possibility of extension
  • Point of Hire: WA
  • Project Scope: Project Ceres is set to become the world’s largest gas stream ammonia-urea plant, with a production capacity of 2.14 MMTPA. Melchor is delivering all labour, equipment, and materials for forming, reinforcing, and pouring 49,000m³ of structural concrete, along with over 150,000m³ of detailed excavation and backfill.

PMax Lease 11 Truck Unloader Project

  • Customer: Geraldton Port
  • Location: Geraldton, WA
  • Roster: 2:1 DIDO (Trades & Staff)
  • Project Duration: Approx August 2026
  • Point of Hire: WA
  • Project Scope: The works involve sheet piling, bulk excavation, waterproofing, and construction of the vault formation slab, followed by installation of structural steel, mechanical packages, and a suspended slab. Additional scope includes building smaller support structures, road realignment, utility installations, and reinstatement of the working platform.
