Procurement & Accounts Payable Officer – Construction Projects

We’re seeking Maternity Leave Cover for a Procurement & Accounts Payable Officer to provide essential support across procurement administration, supplier onboarding and invoice processing. This office-based role works closely with project engineers, procurement teams and suppliers, acting as a key point of contact.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process and review supplier invoices and credit notes in ERP systems (JDE/E5)
- Allocate invoices to projects/PO originators and follow up on discrepancies
- Prepare one‑off and advanced payment forms and manage approvals
- Support internal stakeholder enquiries (email/Teams/phone)
- Ensure all credit card transactions are coded correctly.
Procurement & Vendor Support
- Onboard new suppliers (via Felix/SEAM/internal systems)
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve onboarding issues
- Maintain accurate vendor records and compliance documentation
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years’ experience in procurement, finance or supplier onboarding (construction preferred)
- Strong ERP experience (JDE highly regarded, similar systems considered)
- Excellent communication skills with suppliers and cross‑functional teams
- Ability to prioritise workload and guide others through process changes
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving capability
