Description & Requirements

Melchor, part of the Monadelphous Group, is one of WA’s fastest growing civil construction contracting businesses, bringing a unique service offering to large resource-sector projects. We are a direct-hire self-perform contractor that offers a wide range of capabilities that can be delivered independently or together with Monadelphous as part of a vertical solution.

We are built on a foundation of operational excellence and continuous improvement, nurturing long-lasting relationships within our business, with our project stakeholders and with the greater community.

For people joining us, that means the possibilities are endless. The ability to establish yourself in a rapidly expanding business, to be part of the team that sets the direction of the company, or on the ground as part of the team that solidifies our reputation for delivery. And perhaps best of all, the ability to contribute ideas in a company that is small enough for you to be heard, but big enough to be working on major resources projects.

We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters, Concreters and Steel Fixers based in Karratha for a long-term project on a 20:8 roster.

To be considered for the role, you must have;

  • Previous experience in the Civil Construction industry
  • Valid White Card
  • Tickets and/or Qualifications relevant to your trade
  • Commitment to safety in everything you do
  • Unlimited Working Rights in Australia

What do you get in return?

  • Competitive remuneration (attractive EBA base rates + penalties + allowances)
  • Continual training and development opportunities
  • An employee perks scheme offering discounts on goods and services
  • The opportunity to join a growing business with industry leaders and make an impact

Melchor is an inclusive employer who embraces equal opportunity, and our people are at the core of everything we do.
We are committed to providing and creating a working environment that values and utilizes the contribution of its employees and strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
